Lake Wanaka lies at the heart of the Otago Lakes in the lower South Island of New Zealand. The township is situated in a glacier-carved basin on the shores of the lake and is the gateway to Mt Aspiring National Park. Lake Hāwea is a 15-minute drive away, en route to the frontier town of Makarora, the last stop before the West Coast Glacier region. To the south is the historic Cardrona Valley, offering an alpine route to neighbouring Queenstown.

Expression ashes urns are handcrafted to complement each coffin design, they are both beautiful art pieces and functional ashes containers. We offset our use of natural materials by operating our Memorial Tree Program. When you purchase one of our coffins, a memorial tree will be planted on your behalf.
The tree will be planted by the Men of the Trees society, who are a non-profit, non-political group dedicated to the reforestation, maintenance and protection of trees in Australia. Your funeral director will supply you with a certificate explaining the Memorial Tree Program.
